Albert Einstein had speech problems...

Today at Enrich we played chess and I played against Matt S and I won! So I moved up about ten spaces on the leaderboard so now I am sitting in 17th place out of 26.  I spent some time working on my affective study. I found out that he had speech problems.  He would say something, and then he would pause to consider what to say next, so he paused a lot.  We just finished passion time, and I'm still working on my tiger lino print.  I cut out my tigers head, so on my prints it will stay gold.  The background is going to be black.  I've decided that once I'm finished with my lino print, I won't do clay, I'm going to make a lego or a clay animation.  I know how to do animations, because I did a little bit on it last year.

Tiger

At Enrich for talent development I continued with my tiger lino prints.  I printed 5 onto paper and they look awesome.  My next step is cutting out the tiger and leaving the background.  This way I can keep the tiger gold and make the background black.  The hardest part is lining the print up for the double printing.  We have got robotics after lunch. My group will be starting again so we don't have to use another groups.  I have learnt how to mindstorm and how to get the robot to move using the sound sensor.

My fierce tiger!

At Enrich I did some more of my lino printing. I have finished carving out my tiger, but it took the whole session to get it done.  Katie is doing a lino print of a cat, but I think that my tiger would eat that cat for breakfast!  My tiger is pretty fierce looking.  During chess time, I played against Matt L, but I lost.  Matt got me into check, so I had to move my King because I couldn't block it, but that meant that my Rook was in line, so he took my last Rook!

13 kids in the class today...

Today at Enrich we did a technology challenge.  We had such a small class today - only 13 of us at roll call! Katie changed the day a bit, so that's why we did a technology challenge. We had to build a shelter out of newspaper, string, tape and a plastic bag!  Ours didn't work, but if we'd had more time, we probably could have got it done.  I am doing doubles on my penguin lino print.  That's what I spent my afternoon doing.

penguin lino

Today at Enrich we did our last migration workshop.  This time it was different, we did our finger prints.  We were looking at forensic patterns.  I learnt that no two people have the same pattern and no two fingers have the same two patterns either. For lino printing I am going to start my rock hopper penguin.

Lino printing and mind mapping!

At Enrich for talent development we did some doubles on our lino prints. I also learnt how to mind map, which is not a cloud with lines sticking out of it, nor is it a list! It is a picture of a topic with the name of it underneath. It has branches sticking out of it that show all the different parts of this topic. Should I show you a pitcure of my lino print?  Here you go...

test

Today at Enrich we did some passion time and I have to dig out the background of the dog and do 10 one colour  and I chose light blue as my colour.
We also did a multiple intelligence test. I came out as a kinesthetic learner.
