penguin lino

 Today at Enrich we did our last migration workshop.  This time it was different, we did our finger prints.  We were looking at forensic patterns.  I learnt that no two people have the same pattern and no two fingers have the same two patterns either. For lino printing I am going to start my rock hopper penguin.

At Enrich for talent development we did some doubles on our lino prints. I also learnt how to mind map, which is not a cloud with lines sticking out of it, nor is it a list! It is a picture of a topic with the name of it underneath. It has branches sticking out of it that show all the different parts of this topic. Should I show you a pitcure of my lino print?  Here you go...

Today at Enrich we did some passion time and I have to dig out the background of the dog and do 10 one colour  and I chose light blue as my colour.
We also did a multiple intelligence test. I came out as a kinesthetic learner.

Lino prints

Today at Enrich I have done more lino prints in Art, they are looking Good. I managed to get 5 lino prints done today. I had a go at trying different colours. I have finished my reflection sheet for Katie, which was about what we have learnt this term. It is amazing how much I have learnt this term.  I did debating, the topic was "How good behaved we are today and what will we be like in 100 years".  I think they will be naughty as they won't be punished as much.

Dry Ice

Today Enrich was awesome! For science we did some experiments with dry ice. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. When  you put dry ice in cold water it bubbles and makes steam!  It's actually the cold bubbles escaping and mixing with the water in the air. When you put hot water in, the dry ice makes lots of fog. If you put liquid soap in, it goes all bubbly. You have to be really careful with dry ice, if you put your finger on it, it hurts a lot. It's so cold it will burn you!

Art gallery

Today at Enrich we went to the art gallery for some of our talent development time.  The reason we went was to look at a range of artwork. We had a look around and chose our favourite piece of art to stand beside and to get a photo. When we got back to Enrich we started on our lino prints.  I have decided to do a dog's face.  It took me a bit of time to get the size of the dog's face right.  Next week, we will have to chisel out all the detail, and then it will be ready to print with.

Today at Enrich we did some passion time I did art .It was still life. I only did one picture because I took so long. It was hard. We also had a talk about the pit.
